FIRST EVER Downtown APK 5K. The race is for the 3rd Annual 9/11 Memorial Run 5K, Benefiting the Armando Borjas Jr. Foundation and takes place on Saturday, September 23rd in downtown Apopka.

About the event
This is the first time that streets will be shut down for runners! Please attend if you can.Â

We are excited to announce that registration for vendor space for the annual "Together As One" 5k Memorial Run and Festival, benefiting the Armando Borjas Jr. Foundation Scholarships has officially opened!Â
In the past, this 5k run and concert has taken place at the Apopka Amphitheater in remembrance of the victims of September 11th, 2001 and how that event fundamentally changed the course of the USA on both a military, civilian, and first responder's level.Â
This year's memorial run and festival will take place in downtown Apopka!Â
The festival will consist of a market, a touch-a-truck and kids fun zone, live music, adult libations, and food trucks!Â
This event has been well-attended in the past with a few hundred visitors but with the addition of the market, the truck and kid zones, not to mention the food trucks, live music, and new location, we are expecting closer to 1,500-2,000 people attending this event!
